THE CONTEST IS SIMPLE.

1)      YOU CREATE A TRIBUTE PIECE OF ART (or somethin’) AND ENTER IT FOR THE “GRATEFUL FOR GRADY’S ARTSHOW”  ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 20^TH 2008, WHERE IT WILL BE JUDGED BY AN OBJECTIVE, FAMOUS ARTIST TO WHICH YOU MAY OR MAY NOT WIN A DAMNED PRIZE. (Prizes are 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th places, in case you really care…)

2)       YOU MAY SUBMIT FROM ONE (1), UP TO THREE (3) ENTRIES: PAINTINGS, DRAWINGS, SCULPTURES, or PHOTOS at the entry fee of $10 per piece. These entries must be an obvious tribute or interpretation on the subject of GRADY’S BAR! (Photos of your butt on a copy machine or your mother-in-law drunk (unless she’s drunk at GRADY’S!) on Christmas are FUNNY, but will NOT be accepted into the show.)

2a: SIZE LIMITATIONS: Entries must be no larger than 30”x 24”

3) ALL ENTRIES MUST BE “READY-TO-HANG.” WIRED, FRAMED OR DISPLAYED IN A MANNER CAPABLY POSSIBLE FOR DISPLAY IN A GALLERY. (In other words. DO NOT hand us a roll of duct tape or tube of Elmer’s Glue with the advice, “Good luck!”—such entries will NOT be accepted!)

4) YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY ON THE INTAKE DAY OF NO LATER THAN: SATURDAY, AUGUST 23^RD BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:00 (High Noon) and 7:00 PM., SDT (Standard Drinking Time.) -no freakin’ exceptions!

5) PAYMENT PER PIECE IS REQUIRED AT THE INTAKE DATE, NO EXCEPTIONS. ($10.00 per piece- up to 3 pieces)

INTAKE: SATURDAY, AUGUST 23^RD 12 pm- 7pm CASH ONLY!- (NO I.O.U.’s Gifts, Barters, Bribes, Human or Animal Sacrifices….)
